WCED take part in a joint transversal absenteeism operation

Various Government Departments ,SAPS and Community Organisations will take part in a joint transversal absenteeism operation .


The operation aims to address truancy problems in the Athlone area.


The officials will be meeting today at the Bridgetown Community Centre.


MEC`s Spokesperson Bronagh Casey says the organizations will invade shopping areas, shebeens and other open landmarks
